According to Gizmodo, it appears that PayPal's ambitions for dealing with cryptocurrencies are growing, and on this occasion, Jose Fernandez da Ponte, PayPal's vice president for cryptocurrency concerns, said in an interview that they will be able to send Bitcoin to any wallet they choose.
For the time being, the company has not stated when this policy will be made public, but it appears that it has received criticism from thousands of users, as when PayPal added support for cryptocurrencies, users noticed that they could store cryptocurrencies, convert them to dollars, and vice versa, but they could not be transferred from one wallet to another.
According to Jose Fernandez's statements, they've realized that, just like traditional money, the value of cryptocurrencies is lost if they can't be used to pay for them, thus the company is looking into how to safely facilitate these transactions.
These words come during a period of cryptocurrency instability, which may have prompted some users, some of whom may have huge sums of money on the platform, to press for this to happen, which would not be the first time in a world where the bank equivalent utilizes its clients' money to run.
